Hi, All. I have 1 TMS570LS1224 Launchpad, I want to send and receive CAN messages. I follow the official TI tutorial, "training.ti.com/hercules-how-tutorial-can-communication". However, it does not work.

Is there any sample code.

Hello,
TMS570LS12x HDK Kit has CAN transceivers on it and TMS570LS1224 Launchpad does not. In order to make communication between two boards using CAN, you must connect CAN transceiver to TMS570LS1224 Launchpad (SN65HVDA541 for example). Termination at TMS570LS1224 Launchpad side must be considered.

Hi Miro：

Yes，I have connect Transceivers to DCAN1 and DCAN2. but it still does not work, I will use oscilloscope next week, But i still worry about the software follow training not working.

Hello Fred,

Is the lower board proto board or TMS570LS1227 development kit?

Attached is code I've tested on TMS570LS3137 development kit, using two DCAN modules with onboard transceivers. CANH is connected to CANH and CANL to CANL on two connectors.

Hello Fred,
In HALCoGen project you have attached, I don't see any message box to be configured as RX.
Please refer to HALCoGen examples. Start HALCogen, make new project or open your. Then From Help menu select Help Topics. In Help Topics select Example section. You can choose from two options conserning CAN communication:
- example_canCommunication.c -example using polling method;-
- example_canIntCommunication.c - example using interrupts.
At the right side description how to configure device will be opened.

I find the problem, It's the Transiver problem, and the example I attached is just test Send.
