When sending data on the Can, you must also activate a Port??

Hello,

To use CAN Tx/Rx pin for sending/receiving CAN messages in HALCoGen-->CANn-->CANn Port tab, pins must be set as functional (CAN) from Tx/Rx Pin Mode Section. To use CAN Tx/Rx pins as GIO they must be set as GIO .

When CANn Tx/Rx pin is set as functional (CAN) then Direction, Pull up/down and open drain are not applicable.

You mean from here? we activate from CAN1 PORT?

Mean, to get data from CAN pins, do I have to activate that port?

Hello,

From this tab you only have to set Tx/Rx pin as functional ( used by CAN module ). This is done in "Tx Pin Mode " and "Rx Pin Mode" section by connecting "I/O Block" to "CAN1:". In the picture above it is OK.

From Driver Enable Tab you have to enable CANn Driver.

You can follow the examples in HALCoGen for configuring CAN module.

To send data on Can, explain to me the port side, which must be activated for transfer?
