How to revert MSP-FET430UIF firmware to old version compatible with IAR V5.10.4!

Hello,

I have problem with MSP-FET430UIF when upgrading firmware compatible with IAR Kickstart V50.40.3.

So when i use old version IAR Version 5.10.4, I didn't connect to FET430UIF.

Someone tell me how to revert firmware of MSP-FET430UIF to old version compatible with IAR version 5.10.4.

HEllo,

there is a downgrader for firmware available somewhere in TIs homepage structure. I dont know the link right now, but you should be able to find a thread or a direct link about it when you google it.

It should be under Programs -> Texas Instruments -> MSP-FET430UIF Debug Interface -> MSP-FET430UIF v3 to v2 downgrade

IAR should also have a shortcut.: Programs->IAR Systems->IAR Embedded Workbench for MSP430 5.40->MSP-FET430UIF v3 to v2 Downgrade (pointing to C:\Program Files\IAR Systems\Embedded Workbench 5_40\430\bin\EWV32V2.bat)
