MSP430F5529: Emc/emi effects on internal temperature sensor

Part Number: MSP430F5529

I'm experiencing major problems with emi on the internal temperature sensor.  During EMC testing, the values returned by the internal temperature sensor goes wild and after a while the testing seems to have permanently damaged the sensor such that it only returns max values directly off the ADC12 and no longer able to return temperature values.  The chip has been reprogrammed multiple times with no changes and the internal temperature sensor appears to be permanently damaged.  However, everything else on the chip send to stop be functioning correctly.  It seems odd that only the internal temperature sensor is so susceptible to EMI and can be permanently damaged from it.  Do you have any documentation that can explain this or suggestions on how to resolve this issue?  Thank you.
