Hi,

I am looking on the clock system of msp430F26xx and it can be clocked from DCO,LFXT1 and optional XT2clock.

And I think normally MSP430 (MCLK,SMCLK) clocked from DCO.

My question is that what is the actual need of optional XT2 clock circuit., and which is more better DCO or XT2 clock?

Can get any link related to Rosc design of DCO ?
