whether need be filled no factory code, serial no, property no. distributor password. if so where can the code. because I have tried without filling up the software does not work.

Can you provide which MSP430 you are using, which evm (if any) you are using, and what version of the GUI are you using?

Those fields are written into the info memory when you perform a calibration. They are entirely optional.

If the calibration software is not communicating with your meter trying looking in the log file (cal-log.txt). You should see reports of the messages being sent to and from the meter.

there was no response at all when I have to plug the series, in the cal-log only a text:
Starting
0: Meter thread started - COM3 at 9600 baud
0: Serial open COM3
0: open failed Serial COM3
0: Failed to init - COM3 at 9600 baud

if there is no new software can be open in windows 8.

Have you have the COM port properly set ? You have to edit "calibration-config.xml" and find the tag

and edit the port name to the COM number of the COM you are using
