MSP430G2231: Pulldown resistor when SEL set for TimerA on P1.1

I just need to confirm that it is permitted to have a pullup or pulldown resistor enabled when using P1.1 as the TimerA capture input.  So if I begin by using P1.1 as a normal I/O input with a pulldown resistor, then later set the SEL bit high and use the pin as the CCI0A input, the pulldown resistor will remain enabled.  Is that correct?
