I am using a microcontroller MSP430FR6989 to control 3 stepper motors through DRV8825. I am coding the MSP using energia. Is there a stepper library available to drive the motors through DRV8825?

    Hi Hina,

    You can find the Tools&Software for DRV8825 here: www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

    There are two TI Designs to show how it work with MSP430 MCU. I believe these designs can give you examples. You can also get the design file on the home page of each TI Design.

    Hello,

    Thank you for sharing the links. I have my own schematic and board files with DRV8825 and MSP430. I need to write an energia code for this combination to work and run a stepper motor. Stepper motors have a certain acceleration, constant speed and deceleration profiles. I have to vary the frequency of step wave during acceleration and deceleration as outlined in the following link -

    Instead of coding the basic functions, I was wondering if there is a stepper library designed for DRV8825 that I can use.

    Hi Hina,

    As I know, all the DRV8825 related materials are shown on the device page I shared with you. If you can't find yours, there may not be the library.
