MSP430FR6043: ATEX certification available?

Hello team,

one of my customers is planning to use the MSP430FR6043 in one of their gas meters but due to the environment they require the ATEX certification ( ).

I tried to look on the web but there is no technical documentation about it; do you have any material regarding this documentation? Do you know if the FR6043 is compliant with this certification? Even a Pre-compliance test would be enough.

Any documentation here would be helpful.

    Hello Adrian,

    ATEX would need to be certified on the entire system and not at the IC level. As every customers system is different, we cannot offer such a certification. We do not perform ATEX testing on the EVM as it is an evaluation platform and not an end user product. We do perform testing for CE certification on the EVM. The declaration of conformity can be found below.
