MSP-EXP430F5529LP: MSP430

Part Number: MSP-EXP430F5529LP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5529

Hello,

I got a very good power point presentation about MSP430 timers designed by TI for the "MSP430 design workshop". I am looking for similar power point presentation for other MSP430 functions like  Analog to Digital converter ADC and serial communications.

Thanks

  • I checked to see what documentation is available from the MSP430 design workshop and unfortunately there isn't anything for ADCs or serial communications.

There are, however, several videos (some by TI and some non-TI authored) if you search the web.

Of course you can always read about these peripherals in the MSP430x5xx6xx family user's guide.

There are also code examples that demonstrates features of all peripherals available to the TI resource explorer (TIREX).

When you have the resource explorer open, look under the MSP430WARE-3.80.xx.xx and locate the MSP430F5XX_6XX directory, then find the MSP430F5529.

There you will find "Driver Library"  examples and Register Level examples.  If you want to understand how the peripherals work, I would recommend the Register Level examples.
