F55XX connection problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-FET

Hello!

I have a custom board with F5529 and mirco USB.

After a interrupted usb firmware update, I can't access the controller anymore. I tried via USB BSL (using push button at power up) and via the MSP-FET at the parallel port.

The USB BSL starts as update device, but the device disconnects after the transfer of the BSL software. Here are the progress messages of the MSP430 USB Firmware upgrade example:

Starting
Password Sent Successfully
Sending RAM BSL v00.06.05.34
Done RAM BSL v00.06.05.34

Device disconnects here!

USB device was unplugged!
Unsuccessful in starting the BSL. Restarting.
USB device was unplugged!

With the MSP-FET I can not launch the debugger session and get: "MSP430: Error connecting to the target: Could not find device (or device not supported)"

Edit:

After I installed the Olimex DLLs  I get the following message: "MSP430: Error connecting to the target: Could not access device - security fuse is blown". I get this message with parallel MSP-FET and with the olimex JTAG-RF. I have not blown the fuse with intentional.

Edit 2:

Tests with the BSL_Scripter showed up, that only the first transfer of the password leads to a disconnection from the USB.

Can someone help me with this problem. I have to get the device back to work.

Thanks

Stefan
