hi,

   my project is to develop a pulse oximeter using MSP430FG439 microcontroller.initially  my kit was not working,with the help of TI MSP430 community i found out my errors and it is working now...now when i tried LCD program im getting an error..please check out the attachments.out file is generated and hex is also generated but i could write into the device memory...what should i do?

    Does your program use the information memory locations? Have you checked the CCS download options (default is erasing main memory location only)? You have to erase the information memory too, before flashing new values.

    hi,

         i cleared those errors..check your physical connection...external 3v is needed

    hi,, 

    thanks for your reply ....i have checked all the connections,,,i am also giving 3 volt to my msp430f1612. i have tried to check and solve the problem by giving the power from both sources thats power from jtag and power from external power adapter but find the same problem in both cases....i have tried my level best to solve the issue but couldn't solved...now i am planning to shift from code composer studio to IAR work bench....will this solve the problem...can u show me ur changes in design that helps you to solve this problem???will changing of debugging software will solve my issue??????

    hi,

       u can try in IAR too..but i dnt get output in IAR ...cn u do one thing...jus take your screenshots and send to me....i wil jus verify and tel u..u can find al my screen shots and hardware design in forums...i had already posted...
