Is MSP430 application code available for Solar Street light and MPPT application? I understand the hardware is not available for purchase or evaluation

Hi,

Are you referring to this project from the TI Designs page: http://www.ti.com/tool/tida-00121

I will try to look into why the software is missing from that page - if there's a reason it is not there or if this is simply a mistake on the webpage.

I have found the owner of this project and gotten the source code. We are working to get the TI Design page http://www.ti.com/tool/tida-00121 updated to include this software. Thank you so much for pointing out that it was missing!

Hi all,

Sorry that this thread has not been updated in a while. The owner of this code says it needs to be updated before posting on the web, and that this might be early September before it is complete. I am trying to find from them if there is anything that we can give you in the meantime, as I know some of you have been waiting a long time for this - we'll have to see what they say though.

I have the current version of the software here: 0825.PMP7647.zip

We're still working on getting an updated version to put on the TI design page, but hopefully this will get you started.

Dear Katie,

I have been following up with this post for a long time now. I am still awaiting the code. The previous code which was given has some bugs and cannot be used in field trials. Tried fixing it. Doesnt work though. I would appreciate if you could come up with a GUI like that of PMP7605 or atleast provide with the new code.

Hi Bhushan,

Unfortunately the authors of this design have moved on so there is unfortunately not much more support that I can provide. The last release of this software is what I provided in the August 2014 post here: e2e.ti.com/.../1264064 When the design author provided that in 2014, this was the last update planned for this design as the designers have moved on. The rest of the documentation is available on the site here: www.ti.com/.../tida-00121 The design package is provided free-of-charge-as-is and it is up to the user to complete the design to their own specifications and requirements. I am sorry for any confusion and frustration this might have caused.
