MSP -FET is giving Fatal error while debugging using IAr

Dear All,

I am working on a project using MSP430F47197 & IAR IDE.

I have made a custom board ,i am able to download & run the code ,but whenever i am trying to debug i am getting the Fatal error.

Please find below the error

"FATAL error :- couldn't find the device  (or device not supported )"

Session aborted

Kindly suggest the solution for the same.

    Hello Utpal,

    You are sure that you can flash the device and that the problem only exists when you are trying to debug? Everything works up until you try to pause the code or stop at a breakpoint? Typically this error means that something is wrong with the connection between your FET tool and the MSP430F47149 target device, in which case I would suggest that you review Figures 2-1 and 2-2 of the Hardware Tools User's Guide: www.ti.com/.../slau278v.pdf

    Connection issues usually involve long/uneven trace lengths or incorrect pull-up resistor and pull-down capacitor values on the RST line. Device verification comes before flashing the device itself so this error coming only at the debugger stage is quite strange. Perhaps you could post a screenshot of the issue?
