error of MSP FET 430 Already runung in Ubuntu

Hi All,

I am trying to debug my code using MSP FET 430 but tis gives : MSP430: Error initializing emulator: MSP-FET430UIF is already in use

I was use it perfectly in windows but error in Ubuntu 14.04

Also, I have note that "Only Gree LED is on"

Hi Bhavdipsinh,

Having only the green LED on is normal behavior. Have you ever gotten a MSP430 FET device to work with Ubuntu before? Please take a look at the following E2E threads and see if either of them solve your problem:
