CCS/MSP430FR2311: MSP430FR2311: TimerB PWM and comparator

Hi teams,

I have the same question as http://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp430/f/166/p/591335/2175105?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=msp430fr2311%20PWM#2175105,the PWM signals are affected by the eCOMP output .

When I add " SYSCFG2 |= TB0TRGSEL;" in my source code. The PWM signal is till unnormal.

Please give me some advice. Tks very much.

Are you using the same pins and configuration as the user in the other thread? Can you share your code? Perhaps you need to configure the TB1 module instead.

SYSCFG2 |= TB1TRGSEL;

The problem have been solved.Could you tell why set the SYSCFG2 can make the PWM signal normal? I didn't find the info.

Most likely, you were using TB1 instead of TB0. Why do I suspect this? When you used SYSCFG2 |= TB0TRGSEL, the issue was not resolved, but when you used SYSCFG2 |= TB1TRGSEL, it fixed the issue by changing the TB1 trigger source from internal to external. When TB1TRGSEL equals 0, the trigger source is the output of eCOMP0 (internal), which was causing the abnormal PWM.

You can read more about this in Table 6-15 in the datasheet and in Table 1-42 in the user's guide.
