MSP-FET430UIF: How to reprogram the msp-fet430uif

i use the ccsv6 to upgrade the firmware verison of MSP-FET430UIF, but it fails during the programming, and the two LED (Mode LED and Power LED) are off all the time even plug the to PC.

so any other way to program the firmware to the emulator?

Hi Hardy,

You can try using the MSPDS Debugger upgrade/downgrade tool to revive your device: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../MSPDS_Debugger_Up-_and_Downgrade

I would also recommend attempting to use the FET-Pro430 tool or upgrading to CCSv7 to fix the issue. As the MSP-FET430UIF is NRND I would also suggest that you find a MSP-FET replacement.

I download the MSPDS Source , but I can not find the MSP-FET43-UIF firmware for me to re-program the MSP430F1612 inside the emulator.
Can you help for that. thanks

TI does not provide firmware for re-programming the MSP inside of the FET tool, you can only upgrade/downgrade the emulator.
