MSP432P401R: FaultISR() How to know what causes it?

Can you please share your code? What exactly is happening leading up to the fault ISR? What does your disassembly look like at the execution of the fault. Unfortunately, without the code and more information on the desired operation of the project, I can't provide more input as a number of things could be wrong.

Yuliy, can you tell me the value of your PSR register when you enter the faultISR()? You might reference Section 1.6 in the Technical Reference Manual to look at Fault Handling on MSP432.

Hard faults are typically a result of a buss error that is received during a vector fetch. Can you now show me what is in your SCB->HFSR register field? This will tell us more information about the hard fault that you're receiving. If the Forced bit is set, it indicates that there has been a fault that was escalated from one of the configurable faults (bus fault, mem management fault, usage fault).

I would specifically read Section 1.6.2 of the TRM for more details. How does this relate with your code? What is your code trying to do at the fault?
