I verified available projects from http://www.ti.com/tool/MSPBSL, for MSP430ixxxx family unable to find any projects. Can you suggest me which is the right bootloader project for MSP430ixxxx family?

Hi Ranjith,

I cross-checked with the my senior who developed the Tools: unfortunately the device is not coming with the bootloader from factory. Therefore, there is no BSL programming available on the device.

If you really need the BSL programming on the device, we have the custom bootloader MSP430 (under CUSTOM-BSL430) package. I haven't tried by myself if any code there applicable for i2040. But looking at the code size of the device, usually we store the BSL in the Information Memory. MSp430i2040 has 1kB, and for G2553, we also implement 1kB bootloader. If the implementation fits to the i2040 hardware, you can use BSLDEMO.exe programmer that is available under BSL-Scripter package.
