Hello,

I have the EVM430-FR6047 v1.0, installed the US Design Center USS-1.70.00.04 and I started the GUI and I can connect. But it stated: "HID Bridge connected -- waiting for device". If I press Start under Waveforms nothing happen.

Hi Arun,

"HID Bridge connected -- waiting for device" indicates that the HID bridge was able to connect to the MSP430FR6047, but that there is no serial response. Assuming you made no changes to the Design Center GUI software, it should be trying to communicate over I2C, so please check to see if the 3 I2C jumpers on J5 are populated. If not, please populate them and try again.

The 3 I2C jumpers on J5 are populated, after that also i am getting the same response "HID Bridge connected -- waiting for device". Anything else needs to be done?

Hi Arun,

One other thing to check is to make sure that the power switch (next to the JTAG) is set to ezFET (the middle position). Please let me know if that works.
