Hi TI Experts,

Please let me confirm the following question.

Would you please teach me the way to program the MSP430 firmware via I2C bsl with hex file format?
If possbile, would you please provide the sample code for it?

I have already known that TI provide the sample code whcih used the txt file format base in following link.
software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

Hi Kaka,

The MSP-FET with BSL-SCRIPTER is available if you do not require a custom host. Other options include the Deprecated BSLDEMO and BSL Replicator resources from the BSL-SCRIPTER package or SLAA760 MSP430™ Bootloader With Sitara™ Embedded Linux Host. However all of these resources use UART instead of I2C and would have to be modified accordingly. I also do not know of a solution which specifically uses hex binary images.

In case it might be helpful, here is a VBScript for Windows which converts an Intel Hex file to Ti-Txt format.

It's limited to 64K address space.

we provided an example to program MSP430FR5739 launchpad by using MSP-FET or MSP-BSL Rocket as communication bridge in our documentation: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slau655e/slau655e.pdf chapter 4.2.

But my customer would like to program the firmware via I2C on embedded system(Android). I do not know whether customer can use it as reference.
