MSP432E401Y: PWMgenerator setting flexibility

1.  The PWM module (4 channels x 2 phases (A/B)) has the same clock divider, so it is not possible to set different frequency between phases.
2.  From (1) above, this means that pwmA & pwmB are synchronized .  Other channels can also be synchronized. See section 21.3.7 of the MSP432E Technical Reference Manual for details on Synchronization methods.
3. In general, NO, you cannot assign different frequencies. (You could conceivable generate a 2x difference by using up/down count mode on one phase and up-only on another (with limitations on what phase relationship you could get).

In answer to the duty cycle question- yes, you can change duty cycle for both pwmA & B. The PWMs are designed to change state when the counter is either at 0, PERIOD, or crosses the comparator threshold. This means one edge is always at 0 or at PERIOD. Since there are TWO comparators (CMPA, CMPB), then the duty cycles can be independent of one another.
