BOOSTXL-SENSORS: BOOSTXL-SENSORS

Part Number: BOOSTXL-SENSORS

Trying to run BOOSTXL-SENSORS_GUI+ET. When selecting File->Program Device I get the error "Error Configuring Debug Server: error = operation was aborted"

See attached screen shot.

How to fix please?

  • Hi,

could you please share if you're using the BoosterPack with the SimpleLink MSP-EXP432P401R or the MSP-EP430FR5994?
In case you're using the MSP-EXP432P401R are you using the red Launchpad? The version 1.0 black MSP432P401R LaunchPad will not support the BOOSTXL-SENSORS BoosterPack.

Besides providing the information above you might also want to check your USB cord and see if the USB shows up in your device manager.
Please let me know if yes and if switching the USB cord helps.

    Thanks and best regards,
    Britta
  • Yes, sorry I did not provide that. My setup is MSP432P401R->CC2650MA->BOOSTXL-SENSORS.
I tried running from CCS on my laptop and got that error. Tried running from CCS Cloud and it seemed to work in the sense that it drew some lines on the graphs, but only worked once. Then no longer worked even after rebooting my PC, disconnecting from USB, reconnecting and restarting everything.
I'm going to try again this morning.
  • Hi,

can you check if there is more than one debug session started when you see the issues occurring? If so, please try to stop any additional debug sessions and re-check if it then works.

What CCS version do you have currently installed on your PC and what operating system do you use?

Does the MSP432 show up in your device manager?

What changed after that? You've said it no longer worked, do you receive the same error message as with CCS running from your PC? Besides, is the error message you've shared with us reproducible?

    Best regards,

    Britta

  • Hi,

as I didn't hear back from you anymore I assume that you've solved your issue in the meanwhile.
Please go ahead and verify a given answer in case it helped so that I can close this thread or otherwise please let me know in case you need further assistance.
