MSP430FR5989: ESI register of SCANIF Module is corrupted.

I have some troubles about SCANIF Module.

when I enable SCANIF Module(ESICTL|=ESIEN), ESITSM register will reset at once. Although I have followed Device Erratasheet to ensure TSM is in IDLE state.

I used demo program of TIDMLCWATERMTR-1.0.

Hi Tony,

Can you check the ESITSM registers in the watch window while debugging? If you read out the TSM register data like you did in ESI_TSM_IsError, you may get some zero results.

I checked the ESITSM registers in the watch window,Some of the ESITSM registers have been changed to zero.

Hi Tonyugy,

So what is your original problem? Does the ESI function not work properly with the demo project or you want to read out the ESITSM data and it failed?

My problem is the ESI function not work properly with the demo project ,because ESITSM registers will be unexpected changed,as the Device Erratasheet described.
