CCS/TIDM-1019: DToF correlation error

Part Number: TIDM-1019

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I installed the new USS and firmware.

I seem to get a error saying DToF - correlation threshold error while using default configuration.

I didnt ever get such an error in previous versions.

What could be the issue?

Best Regards,

Varsha V

  • Hello Varsha,

This is a new error code that was added in 2.20.18.  To debug this issue, can you please send me a few things?

    1. Continuous capture from the ADC capture tab when this error occurs
    2. Capture from the waveforms tab while this error occurs.  Do this by clicking start, then save waveforms once the error occurs.
    3. Image of your ADC capture.

Is this error occurring under flow conditions or zero flow?  If flow, what flow rate?

  • Hi Eddie,

This error seems to occur during flow conditions like when i change the flow rate.

Error doesn't seem to appear during constant flow but when i increase the flow this error popsup and VFR graph shows an abnormal peak.

    Regards,

    Varsha V

  • Varsha,

Thanks for the information.  Can you please provide the information below?  This will help me to analyze what the issue may be.  Thanks!

    1. Continuous capture from the ADC capture tab when this error occurs
    2. Capture from the waveforms tab while this error occurs.  Do this by clicking start, then save waveforms once the error occurs.
    3. Image of your ADC capture.  Zero flow or constant flow is okay for this.

  • Varsha,

Just want to follow up on this.  If this is still an issue, let me know.

  • Hi Eddie,

Sorry for the delay in response since i was out of station for a couple of weeks.

    The issue still exists.

I have attached the waveform and ADC capture.

Unfortunately the continuous adc capture file is not being uploaded.

    Best Regards,

    Varsha V

  • Varsha,

The continuous capture is really the file that I would need to evaluate.  We need to see what is happening with the ADC capture when this occurs.  Are you getting an error in e2e when you try to upload the .csv?  It should allow you to use the "Insert file" button to upload(looks like a paperclip).

  • Hi Eddie,

I tried uploading the file using the "Insert file" button but i am unable to insert .csv file in e2e since it shows an error.

    Best regards,

    Varsha V

  • I did not get any error with the test.csv below.  You could try renaming the extension to .txt and see if that works.  Do you have some other way to share the file via dropbox or something similar?  Also, what error is e2e showing when you insert the .csv so we can look into this?

    Audiowell_2_Brd_47.csv

  • Hi Eddie,

I also get the same error while trying to post .csv file.

I have attached the screenshot of the error popup that comes when i try to post a .csv file.

  • Hi  Divya,

Chiming in to help Eddie.  I’m on the E2E team.  Regarding the CSV upload,  could you double check the file name has no spaces or special characters.  Additionally,  we often see users have issues with the Browser they are using.  Could you try uploading with a popular/updated browser such as Chrome or Firefox.  Please let me know if none of these recommends remedy the upload issue your seeing.

Thanks for using TI and best regards,

    Nic

  • Divya,

Sorry, there is not more I can do on the file attachment.  Are you able to provide the files using something like dropbox, google drive, etc. so I can look at your captures?
