Dear team

I saw the following description in the MSP430FR6043 at ti.com. My customer wants to achieve 57600 liters/hour on 25‑mm diameter pipe.

Is it possible?

Ability to measure a maximum flow rate of 8800 liters/hour (40 gallons/minute) on 25‑mm diameter pipe

Ability to detect a minimum flow rate of <1 liter/hour (0.005 gallons/minute)

Ability to measure a flow rate >25000 liters/hour

Ability to detect a minimum flow rate of <3 liters/hour

    Hi Susan,

    It is possible to measure 57600LPH on a 25mm diameter pipe. However, the placement of the transducer will also affect the maximum & minimum flow rate. So the question will be what is the minimum flow rate the customer want with a meter with 57600LPH on a 25mm diameter pipe. Usually, with a higher max flow rate the min flow rate goes higher too.
