Hello,

I am not good PC programmer. I know C and C++ (not excellent). I am looking for an application to send data to MSP430F5510.

Have you got a code of a simple application which:

- opens port with specific number,

- sends "LED ON"

After hours of fighting with visual studio and found projects, with burning eyes, I decided to ask you for help.

A project that receives and sends serial data to an MSP is the LaunchPad Oscilloscope. You might want to take a look int o the PC source code. (ignore the scope library part, it is just for visualization of the received sampling data)

There is a stepper motor that I need to control from PC using MSP430 and DRV8825. Unfortunately other related processes are controlled by archaic scripts and they need to be able to communicate (just a little set of commands) with MCU. These scripts can run .exe applications, so I need to create ones that will send automatically commands using serial port.
