IAR Kickstart license slac050aq

Hello,

I have just got my Launchpad and downloaded the IAR development package slac050aq.zip

Problem start because I am having a offline machine for the development environment. Now I am unable to activate the product as I do not have a license number.

Can someone advice.

I tried the http://supp.iar.com/Register/ for the product registration, but it responded that it cannot register the product IAR for MSP430 kickstart 4K

IAR Kickstart is a product of IAR, not of TI. For licensing problems with this free version (or to buy a full license) you should contact them.

Try this link instead, select "code size limited".

Thanks. I was under the impression that IAR Kickstart was supported by TI; guess I was wrong. Anyway, now the request for IAR Kickstart code-size limited evaluation licesne has differs and it will impact most on those who do not have direct internet access for the license to be register-activated.

Great, that was the missing link. It works. It will need email address for the process to be completed.

I wish IAR can do a better job of documenting the link into the licensing manual. (I am refering to registering for evaluation, using seperated PC with internet access)
