Shubham Mittal

I have an eZ430-Chronos Development Tool and I have being tried to install the driver of the access point. There is a problem about finding the driver.

I'm using Win 10 (64 bit) on mine laptop. Besides, İ have the downloaded newer version of the software (SLAC341). It must include driver of RF Access Point.

What should I do else, can somebody help me?

Yes i did but when i plug the rf device then it is not detected by the laptop and also in device manager i am not able to see any see unknown device that start with like ez430..

Hi Shubham,

In the eZ430-Chronos Development Tool User's Guide, Figure B-13 shows where to look for the ez430 in Device Manager.

If you still aren't able to see the ez430 in Device Manager, can you please step through the driver installation instructions in Section 2.2.1 (Windows Installation) and also Appendix B (more detailed instructions) in the User's Guide? It will be helpful to know exactly where you're running into this issue for further debugging.

While installing the Chronos setup, I am getting this message again and again. I want help regarding this error

Are you plugging the dongle into a USB3.0 port on your PC?

Hi Shubham,

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. After plugging the RF Access Point into my PC, I encountered a "No Driver Found" message. Next, I downloaded and installed 'Chronos-Setup.exe' from the link you provided above.

During the installation, I encountered a Windows Security message (once or twice), but I just chose "Install this driver software anyway" and the installation continued.

Then, I reached the "Installation Complete" window.

After opening the newly-installed Chronos Control Center, I was able to use the RF Access Point.

Perhaps, this is a driver issue with Windows 10. Have you tried this on a Windows 7 PC?

Yes it is working good with windows 7 but not with windows 10

Hello sir,

Now, there is one more problem which i am facing during installation of chronos setup and code composer setup in ubuntu gnome 14.04. I am not able to install setup of both the same.
