Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2540, CC2541, CC2640
Hi,
I am reviewing the feasibility of developing a MSP430F5529 based USB Keyboard with BLE connectivity and RGB LEDS. This product is similar to Mechanical Gaming Keyboards with RGB LEDS. But our version is with BLE(Bluetooth Low Energy) Connectivity and also has to have rechargeable lithium battery. I would like to ask the TI MSP430 Community for advice, because I am not yet knowledgeable with MSP430XX MCU's.
There is already the design guide and software for MSP430F5529 based USB Keyboard (http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDM-KEYBOARD), which we can use as base for product development. I would like the ask if the MSP430F5529 is fast enough to be able to function as USB Keyboard, with BLE connectivity and RGB LEDS? Also, if the program for it would fit at the MSP430F5529 128KB FLASH.
