EK-TM4C123GXL as Debugger

I have found this post, which asks my initial question, and is answered perfectly. I am a newbie, and have instead  TM4C123GH6PM, I have also the board EK-TM4C123GXL. I want to program my MCU with this launchpad. I have read this

Now I have understood that this will give me some pins out, and the wiki says RXD and TXD are optional. Are they optional for my processor, too? Do I need to connect them on the processor, or that optional means project dependent optional?

Also I wasn't able to find that power jumper, by the power indicating LED. Where is it exactly on my Launchpad?

And, I didn't get the thing about the ground, that, there is the GND female header among the GPIO pins on the launchpad, connecting that to a common ground is enough, or do I need an extra header to be soldered to the prescribed holes?

Finally. how do I work this out? If I do the right connections, can I just program it, like I was programming my Launchpad? I am using Keil for programming the Launchpad, and if I connect the processor's pins to the Launchpad this way, and just "Download" using Keil, am I done?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for silly questions.
