can you tell me is there a list of include folders? or other package I need to install beside ssl and RTOS?

I am using the latest one 2.16, and I check online, I found that this header file exist in 2.14 release, but I did not find the header file in the installed package which is 2.16

Hi, Amit, I tried with the mac os RTOS, it seems some of the function was disabled cause the package itself has less header files than the windows one. and also the ssl package seems work better in windows.

To disable the TLS/SSL function when opening a socket, modify the following lines, in the function "ServerConnect", in "cloud_task.c" file,

If you want to build the application without using wolfSSL package, then you will also need to remove all the wolfSSL APIs in the function "CloudTask". You might also have to modify the project properties to remove wolfSSL include path and libraries.

Optionally, since you don't want to use TLS protocol, you can also remove the connection to NTP sever.

Hello Shan,

You will first have to download wolfSSL source code from wolfSSL website (www.wolfssl.com). Then build it to generate the necessary libraries. This wiki has the required steps.

Please note that the steps to build the wolfSSL libraries have changed with the latest version of wolfSSL and TI-RTOS - the above mentioned wiki has been updated for the latest versions.

I suspect that the issue you are facing in building the "secure_iot" application is because of the new version of TI-RTOS, which has deprecated some modules.

I have noticed that the "secure_iot" demo won't compile with the latest versions. But, if you remove the TLS/SSL and SNTP parts as mentioned in my earlier post, then the application could still build.

I will try to release a new version, that works with the latest version of TI-RTOS and wolfSSL, in the next couple of weeks. In the mean time, if you want to use this application, I will try my best to help you.

I had same problem, I found than problem is the version. Sai me helped, You must use TI-RTOS v2.14.00.10(ti.com) and WolfSSL v3.6.6( wolfssl's Github).

I am running in Mac OSX, which don't have 2.14 RTOS

In my experience, RTOS is only files. if select windows or Linux only change path installation and way compress.

In the lastet RTOS, for Mac, there is some function has been peeled away. I can not find the network.h header file

As mentioned before, the latest version of TI-RTOS has deprecated some modules. One of them is "network.h". You can use "sntp/sntp.h" instead, in the "secure_iot" demo. Let me know if you are hitting any other issues while building and running the application.

Are the contents of these messages still accurate as of May 2017? (versions of TI-RTOS, WolfSSL?) Having a heck of a time building the secure_iot Out-of-Box demo for EK-TM4C129EXL
