Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LAUNCHXL-F280049C, BOOSTXL-POSMGR, BOOSTXL-3PHGANINV
Hello,
I’m an engineering intern in a French company and I’m getting started with brushless motor control. Our goal is to make a brushless motor move precisely and be able to reach different pre-selected positions. We have 2 maxon motors with integrated encoders, we would like to use one at a time. These two motors have a rated voltage of 24V and 36V but we will probably drive them with 15V. Also, we would like to make an other firmware control the motor position, by implementing a communication protocol to the MCU. In order to evaluate the TI solutions and make a prototype, I was thinking about purchasing a LAUNCHXL-F280049C, a BOOSTXL-3PHGANINV and a BOOSTXL-POSMGR. What do you think about this choice? Do you have any recommendation of evaluation pack that will suit best for our application or which would be easier to implement?
Thanks in advance,
