DRV8899-Q1: Attenuation Mode / Overcurrent (OCP)

Part Number: DRV8899-Q1

When a short circuit occurs, the analog current limiting circuit of each FET limits the current flowing through the FET by removing the gate drive.

If this current limit lasts longer than the t OCP time, the FET in that particular H-bridge is disabled and the nFAULT pin is driven low (short circuit detection). And in the data sheet.

When PWM control is performed with the Attenuation mode setting, and when driving in Slow Decay mode, no current flows through the H bridge, and the state is the same as when a short circuit occurs.

Please tell me how to detect when a short circuit is detected.
