Hi,

We have a project for two BDC motors to be driven with two seperate H bridges. We were using DRV8702QRHB but because of the stock problem we had to change the design. We found that DRV8718-Q1 is 8x Half-Bridge driver. I carefully checked out the datasheet but I could not find combining two half-bridges into a H-Bridge.

However, mentioned configuration is needed to be reconfigured for each rotation direction as I understand. In order to change the direction of the motor, we need to reconfigure two channel as CH1 as PWM, CH2 as LOW side on. To turn to other side, CH1 as LOW side, CH2 as PWM. Did we get the configuration right? 

If this configuration is true, we also want to add shunt amplifiers. I think they can be assigned to any channel with CSA_CTRL1, CSA_CTRL2, CSA_CTRL3.

I am asking you these questions for verification since we will be buying large amount and we have very limited time.

    That is correct. the control logic truth table is shown below.
