Hello, Ellis.
Here is the block diagram
It's used to Genesis(GV70) PTG system.
OEM requests an automotive MCU applyed to OTA.
So, I am now checking ti's site, but i didnt.
What's MCU to apply OTA
I need technology document for apply. I need your help. Thanks
Hi Gideon,
Does the customer want OTA updates over Wi-Fi from a remote server? Or do they want to use another wireless technology like Bluetooth Low Energy?
If the customer wants Wi-Fi, I suggest you take a look at the CC3220S device or CC3220MODAS module with integrated antenna. These products have an integrated networking stack and application MCU. The Wi-Fi OTA application note is available here: SWRA510. There is also a training portal called SimpleLink Academy that provides a step-by-step guide to running the cloud OTA demo: Wi-Fi OTA. Get started here: CC3220 Out of Box Experience.
Best regards,
Sarah
Hi Gideon,
Unfortunately, none of the SimpleLink Wi-Fi devices (CC3xxx) are automotive qualified. Our only qualified Wi-Fi device is part of the WiLink family, which is a transceiver module and requires a separate processor.
Best regards,
Sarah
