DRV8871: Replacement with Smart Tune

DRV8871 is a 50-V, 3.6-A H-bridge motor driver with integrated current sensing; 8-Pin HSOP package.

Would you check DRV8256P to see if it can meet your requirement or not?

BTW, in general, smart tune technology is used for a stepper motor since the motor back EMF has a sinusoidal waveform in one electrical cycle.
