DRV8701: Changing the sink and source current of gate drive

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer have the following inquiries on the workings of the IDRIVE pin. Specifically on changing the sink and source current of gate drive.

1. What is the GATE DRIVE Current?
2.The source and sink current mentioned in table 5 of datasheet(DRV8701) under section 7.3.6 denote which  pin's current?[Is it the current flowing through IDRIVE Pin?]
3. How does the varying of source and sink current  mentioned in table 5 of datasheet(DRV8701) under section 7.3.6 affect the working of IC?[Is it responsible for change in rise and fall time of H-bridge output (SHx pins)? ]
