DRV8873-Q1: ITRIP Current vs VM

Hi team,

We have a question about DRV8873-Q1 ITRIP current limit.

From datasheet, we know ITRIP current is related to temperature. Are there any relationship between ITRIP and supply voltage(VM)?

    Hi Zheng,

    As the VM increases, the current in the load will increase. For example the current through the motor will increase which will cause the IPROPI level to also increase. However, there should not be any direct relationship between IPROPI accuracy and VM. The only exception will be if increasing VM causes the temperature to increase which will affect the IPROPI accuracy.
