Our customer want to confirm the DRV8350 whether can support the PMSM , although the BLDC is very similar to PMSM and I also find the DRV8301/DRV831x have the PMSM reference design , but for the DRV835x serial devices , I did not find any information to prove it can support the PMSM , could you help me to confirm it ,
If it support the PMSM , could provide the reference design and sample drive code to me ?
2. For the DRV8350 , it should support the external control and trapezoidal control , right ?
How to switch the control mode , I only find this description about it which link below :
Various PWM control modes (6x, 3x, 1x, and independent) are supported for simple interfacing to the external controller. These modes can decrease the number of outputs required of the controller for the motor driver PWM control signals. This family of devices also includes 1x PWM mode for simple sensored trapezoidal control of a BLDC motor by using an internal block commutation table.
Is that mean ,1x is the trapezoidal control , other is the external control ..
