DRV8323R: Overheating and showing multiple fault conditions

Hi, I am using DRV8323RS. I am facing some issues related to overheating when there is no load connected to it. Also, When I connect a motor and accelerate it few times from zero to 2800 RPM in one shot, then DRV released the motor and going in a fault condition with UVLO and overcurrent flag set. I am using a 24V battery to power the motors and also tried using an external power supply but the result is same. PFA, schematic and layout for the same.

We noticed that the DVDD pin for DRV8323RS in your schematic is currently not connected.

In the product datasheet, a 1uF capacitor should be at the DVDD pin
- Link: DRV832x 6 to 60-V Three-Phase Smart Gate Driver datasheet (Rev. C)
  - Specifically, refer to 'Figure 17. Block Diagram for DRV8323RS'
- The cap is important to stabilize the linear regulator's output voltage and help prevent oscillations
- We advise that you add this cap to DVDD to see if it resolves the issue, as DVDD is critical to device operation
