DRV2605: Actuator oscillation at calibration

Part Number: DRV2605

Hi Expert,

I have some questions about DRV2605 calibration.

1. Could you please tell me the register address where the calibration information is written?

2. How many volts does the power supply voltage drop below when the calibration information disappears?

Best Regards,

Ta

  • Hello Ta,

Here is outline of info set by calibration

And here is register map with bits that are set by auto-calibration highlighted

As for question 2 I dont think I understand what are you referring to. Could you explain?

    Best Regards,

    Carson

  • Hello, Carson

    Thank you for your answer.

    As for question 2,

first of all, I want to make sure that the calibration information will be lost when the power supply is lost, right?

If so, I would like to know the value of the voltage at which the calibration information disappears.

    Best Regards,

    Ta

  • Hello,

Yes register settings will be lost on power down, but in terms of when the system goes in power down I would go by the min voltage rating for power supply which is 2.5V but that is bound to vary, for example I couldn't guarantee device will shutoff at 2.4V but it should not power off at 2.6V.

    Best Regards,

    Carson
