DRV8316: Fault=0

Dear Teams,

My customer is using DRV8316. They used SPI communication peripheral and able to read the register. However, they found there is fault=0. Based on the detail status information, they still not able to find out where the fault occurs. Could you help give some suggestions based on following picture?

Hi Dylan,

Does the motor spin for some period of time before the fault occurs? I see that you are powering VM with 5V, the minimum voltage for this pin is 4.5V, so you are operating in the lower range of this device. Is it possible to increase this voltage?

Overall, the schematic looks good. Can you provide waveforms of the inputs and outputs of the device? I would like to see INHA, INLA, GHA, and GLA. Make sure that DRVOFF is pulled low and the device is awake (nSLEEP high).

Note: You may want to add a 0.1-µF, 6.3-V ceramic capacitor between the VREF and AGND pins.
