DRV8306EVM: Not 50% duty in FGOUT

Hi experts,

Our customer notice unexpected behavior on DRV8306EVM.

They connect hall sensors and capture each outputs and FGOUT, then FGOUT is not 50% duty as attached, seems to be around 70%.

Could you please suggest why this behavior happen?

From top to bottom,


2. Hall input A (Noise can be seen but can be disregard due to probing)

3. Hall input B (A little distorted...?)

4. Hall input C

    I reviewed the scope capture provided and it seems like FGOUT transitions are  occurring at the zero crossing of either hall input A or hall input C, and none at zero crossing of output B. Is it possible to check the outputs of the hall sensors by manually sweeping the motor and connecting them to the scope?

    Are the outputs of this motor digital hall sensors or are they hall element?

    Was this hall sensor behavior able to drive the motor?

    One thing to check would be to make sure the connections to the connectors are properly connected as well!
