DRV8353R: PWM Brake

Hi Team,

May we ask if it would be possible to PWM brake when using DRV8353R in 1X mode? Asking this as I would assume that when the Brake pin is asserted into brake mode, the module would ignore the PWM input. So we're wondering if you could PWM the brake pin at the duty cycle you want to brake while holding PWM and Direction at digital low.

Hi Jejomar,

If nBRAKE is active low, it will brake regardless of the PWM and direction pins. Datasheet on pg 31 states that "This brake is independent of the states of the other input pins". So yes, you could PWM the brake pin if wanted.
