DRV8434: Minimum power draw on DRV8434PWPR

How should the DRV8434 motor driver IC be configured if we want to minimize the current draw from the motor voltage power supply?  There are a few different configurations like toff and decay mode that need to be set.

    Ed,

    The longest TOFF can reduce the switching loss.

    The decay mode can affect the average current setting, even with the same Itrip setting. But, the average current setting should be decided by the load torque. After the average current is decided, the ripple control decay could give a fixed small ripple around the average current which can allow less extra margin for Itrip setting.
