DRV8302: Driver output GL_C signal abnormally

Part Number: DRV8302

Hi team,

After power up, the MOS tube is turned on incorrectly when the GL_C signal has a 1.8-V fluctuation voltage without a PWM input (standby).  The customer has checked the GL_B, GL_A , and did not find a problem.

Could you please help resolve this case? Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,

Cherry

  • Hi Cherry,

Is the PWM input floating? Can you check if INL_C still has 100k pulldown to GND using a DMM?
Are you using gate resistors at the gate outputs?
Is GVDD stable and around 10-12V?

It may also be good to see the schematic and/or layout of the customer's board.

    Thanks,
    Aaron
