DRV8316: Using for stepper

Hello E2E,

We are considering using two "DRV8316R" (two phases for each IC) to drive a stepping motor instead of a three-phase motor.
When using "DRV8316R", is it okay to use only 2 of the 3 internal phases?

Hi ACGUY,

I believe this should work for DRV8316. You can disable one half bridge and keep the INHx/INLx/OUTx pins floating for the unused phase. We can confirm with our systems team or try on the EVM as well to confirm.
