BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM: Simple setup: PWM from Launch Pad to BOOST outputs

Part Number: BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE, LAUNCHXL-F28027F

Hej Isaac,

A belated thank you for you reply. We are starting to think about this isuue again and will follow up your links.

It's unfortunate there is no code available which is directly related to the BOOST module we would like to use.

Regards

Roger

  • Hey Roger,

No worries on the belated reply. Let me know if you have any questions I can help you out with.

If you have the Motorware SDK downloaded the source code is available to view. You can open these projects in CCS and try to identify what you are looking for. If you installed this the standard way you should be able to find it here: C:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_18\sw\solutions\instaspin_motion\boards

I am not too well versed in the MotorWare SDK so I do not think there is a simple project that will simply give you the PWM outputs but it should be included in the code found in those repositories so this should help you figure out how to create those PWM outputs using the LAUNCHXL-F28027F it just might take some digging. The MotorWare SDK can be downloaded form this link: https://www.ti.com/tool/MOTORWARE

    Best,

    Isaac
