DRV8432EVM: input/output pulse width question

Hi Team,

One quick question, when customer populated a 22uF (for DIP) , and 0.47uF (for SMD) on red circled location below on EVM, the output pulse width will be limited to 2uS, even input pulse width is more than 2uS.

Once these caps being removed, output pulse width will follow input correctly and can be longer than 2uS, no longer be limited, any idea?

Andrew,

Do you have any scope captures and can you point out where the output pulse width is being measured? Adding those capacitors just creates a low pass filter so you can get a DC output.

Finally, is there a load connected?
